BDS to demonstrate Xerox’s new and future technologies at FESPA Africa

With Africa’s largest dedicated print and signage exhibition, FESPA Africa, due to take place between 7 and 9 September at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, excitement is building as to what new and innovative solutions will be on display.
Co-located with Sign Africa and Africa Print, the expo is considered to be the printing industry’s showcase annual event for the African continent. FESPA Africa witnesses over 6 000 industry professionals coming together to demonstrate and view the latest developments in technology, equipment, solutions and software.
Jenny Attewell, PSG & Wide Format Product Manager at Bytes Document Solutions (BDS), says, “BDS will be exhibiting a wide range of the latest Xerox technologies, which have been designed to take the represented industries into the future.”
For its stand, the company has selected software, inkjet wide format and digital presses that are ideally suited to the corporate and graphic arts marketplace, where advanced wide format and digital printers are finding favour over office-centric printer/copier type of products.
Attewell says that among the products on display will be the Xerox 1000i, the Xerox Versant 80, the Xerox Wide Format IJP 2000 printer and the EFI H1625 LED printer. A range of software will also be on show including FreeFlow Core, FreeFlow Digital Publisher, XMPie, CMI, Solimar and FreeFlow VI.
“This software, together with these devices, delivers the flexibility, performance and quality which are necessary for businesses to flourish. We therefore want to invite visitors to take the opportunity to see some of our many industry leading solutions and to speak to our experts regarding applications, business development and state of the art technology.”
She adds that since BDS has the solutions which can transform printing businesses and ready them for the future, the company wants to afford visitors to FESPA Africa the opportunity to experience first-hand demonstrations of these new and future technologies.
“Ultimately, our goal is to help visitors to the show understand exactly how these solutions are going to significantly alter the printing landscape, going forward, and to add value to their business.”
“We are strong believers in the principle behind FESPA Africa and we are equally strong supporters of the region’s print industry. BDS is certainly looking forward to exhibiting the latest Xerox technologies at this event, as we feel that the whole point of such an exhibition is to unlock potential, realise opportunities and showcase innovation,” concludes Attewell.
