NOR Paper, a division of Bytes Document Solutions is one of the largest paper merchants for commercial printers in South Africa with branches throughout South Africa.

NOR Paper, which started as a supplier of printing machines and office automation equipment in 1974, today supplies an extensive range of papers that include sundry supplies, board, commercial coated papers, uncoated papers, general stationery grade paper and carbonless papers, with over 30 different grades in range. NOR provides customers with the finest papers sourced from around the world.

The business converts sheet paper to any size that customers require and expedites rapid delivery so that customers hold little or no stock. This is absolutely critical in an industry characterised by tight margins and even tighter deadlines. With their comprehensive product range NOR prides itself on being able to offer a "one stop shop" for printing and allied trades as well as stationers and small business.

Today (June 2009) NOR has revenues of around R280 million, which when added to the paper division of Bytes Document Solutions' business, makes NOR Paper a clear market leader.

NOR Paper operates a fleet of 68 delivery vehicles and delivers stock twice daily to customers, with additional deliveries as required. It has dedicated account managers to satisfy customer service requirements, employs modern track-and-trace technologies, and operates against individual service level agreements with customers.

It offers a wide variety of products, including three coated grades, one local and two international, which offer particularly competitive pricing, with triple and double coated grades; bond and cartridge, both local and imported; litho board; carbonless sheets and reels; packaging board including SBS, Greychip, White Lined and Black Lined; ivory board for business cards and folders; and self-adhesive stock.
